Artist Statement

IAN DANAC, he/him/his they/them

“My holy grail is to follow in the footsteps of modern and historical gay artists’, while simultaneously being the first of the digital age. I am addicted to many things, the most important being my need to communicate visually; I have no choice but to collage and digitize. I am prolific because I am often free of the nuisance of worldly things.

I make art representing my three corners: my sexuality and lovers, my relationship with my God, and my physical self eroding to becoming a digital phantom.

I am finally unapologetically selfish.”
