"I made a lot of money in the 1990s helping Jean Machine/ Silver Jeans to understand the fashions of underground culture. With the money, I wrote, produced, directed, and toured with my cute homo comedy of errors - it premiered in Santa Monica CA.
The film was recognized for its unique fashions."

"I opened the business when I returned from Washington DC with my then partner Sean Neidlinger, (performance cello). The company turned a profit in its first year. I was considered at the time as a top-ten-florist in the city of Toronto."
